Check In

8:00am:
Check-in begins. This does not mean that you have to be here by this time. Check-in begins early to accommodate those who arrive early.
Athlete Briefing
9:00am:
Athlete briefing begins. Topics to be covered:
1. Description of event
2. Standards for Rx and Scaled burpee options
3. Safety protocols
4. Sponsor recognition
5. NO MUSIC ALLOWED (from cellphones or otherwise)
Begin to Burpee
9:15am: Heat 1 (Rx: FAST) begins
9:20am: Heat 2 (Rx: SLOW) begins
9:25am: Heat 3 (Scaled) begins
9:30am: Heat 4 (Teams) begins
Time Limit
THERE IS A TWO HOUR TIME CAP TO COMPLETE THIS EVENT.
Other Information
You may be tempted to look at the agenda and decide to show up just at your heat time. DON’T. Important information will be addressed that YOU NEED TO KNOW.
What to wear/bring:
-Hats are a good idea. They will also wick your sweat.
DON’T wear/bring:
-Shoes
-Don’t bring your cell phone
-Bags, purses, briefcases
Maybe Bring:
-Water bottles. There are aid stations at the ¼, ½ and ¾ mile that will provide water and electrolyte drink. Most people can survive until they arrive at the aid station. Some people will bring a small water bottle that they continually throw ahead of them. Don’t hit the other athletes
-Sweat towels. Some people will tuck them into their shorts/tights
